I’m a freelance proofreader/editor, offering my services to publishers, businesses, students, writers and anyone needing an objective, detailed and thorough (but not unfriendly) eye to look over their texts. I am based in Petersfield, Hampshire, UK. I have a qualification from the Publishing Training Centre, the industry-recognised training body for the publishing sector, and am a member of the Society for Editors and Proofreaders (SfEP).

Recent experience includes proofreading The Permaculture Kitchen and Around the World in 80 Plants for Permanent Publications. I have also copy-edited a non-fiction book for self-publishing, proofread a novel for self-publishing, and proofread Edible Cities for Permanent Publications. I proofread dissertations for ESL students (social sciences and MBA) and also do work for non-profit organisations including I Learn to Live – Ngifundela Ukuphila.
