I’m an experienced freelance proofreader of marketing materials who regularly works with marketing teams, design agencies and businesses to help them create clear and accurate communications.

I completed the Publishing Training Centre’s Basic Proofreading Distance Learning course (achieving a Merit) in 2014 and I am a Professional Member of the Chartered Institute of Editing and Proofreading, formerly the Society for Editors and Proofreaders.

As a trained freelance proofreader, I can read words with fresh eyes, something that can be difficult for the original writer to do.

When proofreading, I use comments in PDF or track changes in Word to suggest changes to spelling, grammar, punctuation, consistency and formatting.

I’m also a copywriter and write marketing materials, case studies, websites and reports for agencies and business clients.
