- That knowledge is backed up by seven years of teaching English as a foreign language (TEFL) when living in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Chile and China, and 13 years spent as a district reporter for evening newspapers in the UK. Consequently, I have seen the huge variety in the human condition.

Beyond my core areas of work, my interests include history, football, hiking, travelling and exploring, so I am always keen to be considered for assignments in those subject areas.
And, oh, I am a working journalist and content provider, so I know how challenging things can sometimes be for a writer, especially when up against a tight deadline.
