I spent 20 years working in media market analysis and business intelligence, during which I wrote and edited everything from corporate blog posts and press releases to full-length business reports that were sold to clients all over the world and were often quoted in the top business journals.

My undergraduate degree was in Chinese Studies with Social & Political Science, which I studied at the University of Cambridge, and I still have a great love of languages. I later received a Diploma in Mathematics from the Open University.

As a freelance proofreader and editor, my specialist subjects are business, corporate communications, advertising and media, but I am happy to quote for any kind of non-fiction project. I have undertaken broad-based training with the Chartered Institute of Editing and Proofreading, of which I am a professional member.
