I am a conscientious editor and proofreader with five years’ in-house experience working as an editor and project manager in the Editorial and Production departments of two academic publishing houses.
Books I have edited and proofread range from biographies to scholarly theological monographs and architectural coffee table books. I have also worked on newsletters, magazine articles, and academic essays. My main areas of expertise are literature, media and film studies, music and theatre, biography/memoir, religion and modern history.
I am familiar with a range of style guides and can work in Word or Adobe (or even on hard copy) according to your preference.
I am an Intermediate Member of the Chartered Institute of Editing and Proofreading and carry out my work in accordance with their Code of Practice.
