I offer a friendly, reliable and affordable proofreading and editing service for writers, publishers, students, businesses, charities and churches. I trained in proofreading with the Publishing Training Centre, qualifying with Distinction, and I have several years’ experience working in-house for a publishing company as well as freelance. I am an Advanced Professional Member of the Chartered Institute of Editing and Proofreading (CIEP).
What I do
I am happy to take on projects of any size, large or small, and I work on-screen (Word or PDF). I am experienced in proofreading and editing all kinds of material, including CVs, promotional literature, newsletters, essays and website content.
I am particularly sensitive to the needs of clients who are dyslexic or have English as an additional language, and I offer friendly, one-to-one support from start to finish.
I am used to working to strict deadlines and always deliver on time.

I am also a writer with a successful career spanning over 30 years. I love to work with writers who are preparing a manuscript for publication, whether mainstream or self-publishing.
