I am pleased to recommend Dr. Rachel Finnegan as a professional and thorough proofreader. Rachel has assisted with various editing services over the past couple of years including: the editing and formatting of interpretive museum text for a new social history museum for the London Borough of Brent Council, due to open July 2015. More recently she has been assisting with the editing of new web content for a Grade I listed church, S. Paul’s Deptford. In copy editing and editorial work I have found Rachel to be fast and accurate. She has a sharp eye for detail and an ability to work on her own initiative and I would highly recommend her to others.

London Borough of Brent Museum Project Developer (2013 – 2015)

What I appreciated most about Rachel Finnegan at Irish Academic Editing was her prompt replies to emails, how she was flexible and able to adjust to my tight schedule and handed in excellent work well ahead of the agreed time. I would be delighted to recommend her and look forward to a continued and successful business relationship.

As Rachel’s proofreading and editing tutor at the College of Media and Publishing, I was thoroughly impressed with her attention to detail, accuracy and ability to adapt her skills to various assignments.

It was clear to me that she would attain a distinction, right from the beginning.

She is highly skilled, works quickly yet accurately, has a professional approach and a warm and engaging manner.

I highly recommend her services, in particular to those needing academic documents proofread and edited.

Jennie Harborth – College of Media and Publishing – Tutor in Proofreading and editing, Search engine optimisation, and Web editing courses.

“Rachel was our main proofreader for five months. This meant she had to check the new blog posts and other content for our website — between four and six items per day.

She also had to check for errors, and edited the grammar, punctuation, and structure and ensured the formatting and style were consistently applied. The work was done on screen.

Rachel carried out the work professionally, efficiently and accurately, and was able to support our unpredictable work patterns by doing jobs at short notice, during evenings, weekends and bank holidays.

We found her to be reliable, thorough and skilful and a pleasure to work with. I would have no hesitation in recommending Rachel for other proofreading and editing work.”

Cleland Thom, Principal, College of Media and Publishing, UK.

“I would highly recommend Rachel Finnegan at Irish Academic Editing, because of the excellent service I received when she proofread and edited my dissertation. This was my first academic piece, and Rachel’s editing and proofreading gave me peace of mind. Her attention to detail was second to none, and the service was also extremely fast and accurate. I would be delighted to recommend her to any student or business looking for such a service.”
