“Tabitha has proved to be a reliable and capable proofreader with a keen interest in the use of language.”
Robin Scagell, Acting Editor of Popular Astronomy magazine
Although able to work on almost any publication, my experience includes magazines, a fundraising pack, newsletters, websites, room cards for an historic house, a non-fiction book, blogs, marketing material and a power point presentation. These have been for a range of clients, including charities and an indie author.
I have a passion for languages and have a BA (Hons) degree in Scandinavian Studies, with Swedish language. I am also fluent in French and German, which I taught at Secondary School.
Previously, I worked in tourism and marketing. I have travelled extensively through Europe and visited America, South America, Asia, and Africa.
Through my interests and experience, my specialist areas for non-fiction proofreading include: amateur astronomy, autism, cookery, dogs, environment, family history, food allergies, football, foreign languages, French, German, history, recipes, Swedish, tourism, travel, veganism, vegetarianism, wildlife gardening.
My fiction specialisms are: thrillers, historical and romance.
