We’ve just gone to print and everyone at the final stage agreed that [Victoria]’d done an absolutely stupendous job on the proof.

Are you a writer preparing a book or article for publication? Perhaps you are a student agonising over how to make your dissertation as near to perfect as possible; or maybe you are a musician with some programme notes in need of a final polish before going to print.
My name is Victoria Hunt and I offer professional, industry-standard proofreading services. I specialise in music- and history-related texts, but am experienced in working on a number of other subject matters too and welcome the variety. I will ensure that your text is as clear as possible, eliminating any language or formatting errors while respecting and retaining your own unique voice.
Comfortable working on both fiction and non-fiction, I am pleased to help with a wide range of projects of varying lengths, on screen or on paper – no job is too small. Tight deadline? Don’t worry: drop me a line and I’ll do my utmost to fit you in.
Musically, I have a particular love of the baroque period, and historically I am especially interested in the late fifteenth century, but I am more than happy working on other periods and genres. In addition to those subjects, I have also worked on a number of other projects, from concert listings to English translations of submarine model assembly instructions!
Victoria proofread and edited two articles for my newsletter. Although the content was quite technical, she completed the work competently and on time. She dealt with my follow-up questions in a helpful and intelligent fashion.
