About Carrie

Hi – I’m Carrie, a British proofreader currently living in Bahrain. I provide a friendly service proofreading non-fiction documents such as research papers, annual reports, dissertations, blogs, websites and articles as well as non-fiction and fiction manuscripts.

My specialities include:
• academic research papers and dissertations on all topics
• health, nursing and social welfare
• international development, humanitarian affairs and charity/NGOs

I am a member of the Chartered Institute of Editing & Proofreading (CIEP) and have two postgraduate degrees in international affairs. I have over 20 years of experience working in humanitarian and community health projects around the world and over 10 years of experience in communications and PR.
