Experience

I have over 20 years’ experience of legal editing, having worked in-house for both commercial and charitable organisations, as editor of various publications from short guides to 1,000-page-plus directories, including most recently a multi-award-winning legal journal aimed at the social justice/legal aid sector.

Services

I offer a range of editorial services, both print and digital, from proofreading to more substantive copyediting (including fact-checking) to legal, academic and other clients. I want to help you communicate more effectively, clearly and authoritatively through your written words.

Recent training

I am an intermediate-level member of the Chartered Institute of Editing and Proofreading and have recently completed several refresher training courses: Proofreading 1: Introduction; Copyediting 1: Introduction; Word for Practical Editing; and Proofreading 2: Headway (Merit). I have also passed CIEP’s editorial test.
