I am a proofreader, editor and tutor. I can proof and edit work in any subject and have extensive experience working on academia, as well as working with writers and businesses. Work is completed efficiently and accurately and the standard rate for proofreading and editing is £10 per 1,000 words.

I provide academic tutoring in essay and dissertation writing, assignment completion and essay and dissertation research for undergraduate and master’s students in arts and humanities subjects. I also offer writing coaching services to academics and writers. Meetings are all remote over Zoom and the standard rate is £20 per hour.

I have been working in this role for more than ten years and have edited and proofread dissertations, essays, academic papers and theses in everything from science, business and media, to arts and humanities. I have also worked with fiction and memoir writers on their books, and am happy to provide a tailored service for fiction and non-fiction writers.

I am experienced in working with second language English speakers and will work with you to produce the best quality piece of work possible. I also offer advanced editing services, where I provide input and feedback on the writing. For rates, and to discuss what you need, just get in touch.

I have an undergraduate and master’s degree from the University of Edinburgh and a qualification in proofreading from the Publishing Training Centre in London.
