Hi – I’m Carrie, a British proofreader providing a friendly service proofreading non-fiction documents such as manuscripts (self-help, biographies, educational), research papers, dissertations, annual reports, blogs and articles.

My specialities include:

I trained with the Chartered Institute of Editing & Proofreading (CIEP) and have two master degrees in international affairs. I have over 20 years of experience working in humanitarian and community health projects around the world and over 10 years of experience in communications and PR.

I am used to working with professionals and students who have English as a second language and make great efforts to keep the author’s style and voice while ensuring clarity.
