Writing and Editorial Services:

· Proofreading of all written text including essays, CVs, articles, short-stories, non-fiction books and novels. I check and correct spelling and typing mistakes, punctuation and hyphenating errors, the presentation of text on the page, consistency of layout and any possible factual inaccuracies.

· Copy-editing of all written text in preparation for publication. As well as the above-mentioned proofreading checks, I will also assess the overall layout and clarity of the text. I will ensure that the text is grammatically correct and flows clearly, and that the style of all text, headings, references and illustrations is in line with your publisher’s house style (if applicable).

· Professionally written copy for websites, advertising and blogs for businesses. I can help promote your business with engaging and high-quality content designed to boost performance and generate greater interest.

I am a writer of non-fiction articles on a variety of subjects, with a particular interest in health and fitness, mental health and well-being, art and creativity, history, and dogs.

I am the Health and Fitness Correspondent for FIRE Magazine, the trusted voice of fire and emergency since 1908.

I am an Entry Level Member with the Chartered Institute of Editing and Proofreading with a view to continually develop my skills and training in accordance with their excellent editorial standards. I have completed the CIEP Proofreading 1 course, and I am currently studying the CIEP Proofreading 2: Headway course.
