About prooftheword

I am a fully qualified proofreader and copy editor with over 25 years’ experience, working on a wide range of publications, including dissertations, magazines, books and websites. I have excellent English-language skills, and always work quickly and accurately.

I regularly edit Word, InDesign, Excel, PowerPoint, Libre Office and PDF (annotation) files. I’m an expert in spelling, grammar, punctuation, syntax and layout, so you don’t have to worry that I won’t know what to do with your document.

Also, I regularly edit the layout of copy, altering the placement and size of images, the style and placing of text, page numbering and so on.
