Eagle Editing (Proofreading)

I’m Lisa, a native English-speaking proofreader based in Scotland and specialising in non-fiction and academic texts in both UK and US English. I’ve been freelance since late 2022.

My background is in engineering and I’ve worked for 12 years in the energy industry where I’ve been responsible for, among other things, proofreading technical documentation.

I did formal proofreading training through the Chartered Institute of Editing and Proofreading (CIEP), of which I’m an intermediate member.
