Background
Before I started editing and proofreading, I worked in academia and the higher education sector. I completed a PhD in music and I taught popular music studies, writing skills and other subjects in the arts and humanities at university level. After this, I worked as a researcher and report writer for a charity before I started BC Editorial and began working as a full-time editor and proofreader.
