Dr Katie Phillips

I am a member of the CIEP (Chartered Institute of Editing and Proofreading), with a strong academic background, having completed a PhD in Medieval Studies at University of Reading. I have completed the CIEP modules in proofreading, and a further module for proofreading theses and dissertations.

My academic experience means that I am perfectly able to help with essays, dissertations and theses, particularly in humanities subjects such as history, philosophy, politics, English and religious studies. I have extensive experience with referencing and bibliographies and can help you with these elements of your academic work.

My training with the CIEP enables me to offer a professional service for businesses and other organisations too.

I am proficient with proofing using either Track Changes in Word, markups in PDF, or using BSI symbols.
