I’m a native UK English speaker, offering proofreading services to a range of clients including individuals, businesses, publishers, students and charities. My specialist interests are in scientific, technical and medical publications.

An Entry Level member of the Chartered Institute of Editing and Proofreading (CIEP), I passed the CIEP Proofreading 2 – Headway course with merit.
I’ll check your writing painstakingly to ensure it is error-free and accurate, while maintaining your voice as the author, so your work is perfectly presented to your target readership.
When proofreading your work, I will focus on:

Prior to fulfilling my ambition to become a proofreader, I worked for over 22 years in Pharmaceutical Regulatory Affairs, preparing, editing and reviewing high-quality technical documents for drug licencing. In my work I’m diligent and methodical, with a keen eye for attention to detail and a highly meticulous approach.

I hold a BSc (Hons) degree in Chemistry from the University of York and a Postgraduate Diploma in Industrial Pharmaceutical Studies from the University of Brighton. Member of the Royal Society of Chemistry.
