J T Foster Proofreading, based in the North East of England, offers proofreading, copy-editing and English language services to students, academics, authors and businesses.
With a PhD in Physics and fifteen years in the IT industry, I know the necessary components of academic and business documentation, while my love of reading gives me an appreciation of the subtleties of the English language.
As a intermediate level member of the Society for Editors and Proofreaders, I follow the industry standard methods for copy-editing and proofreading. I have completed several SfEP and Publishing Training Centre proofreading courses and have recently attained a Merit the PTC Essential Copy-Editing course.
