A proofreader, I am a member of the Chartered Institute of Editing and Proofreading.
I am comfortable working with a range of clients and source material and can provide feedback using the BSI proof-correction marks, the commenting tools available in PDF editors or track changes and comments in Word. I can meet online through a range of video-conferencing services.
I work a lot with students who have English as a second language, proofreading academic essays, proposals, dissertations and theses, and books.
Dr Karen’s proofreading work is very professional and efficient. The comments given were effective in solving my problems in essay, and the revised statements were more smooth than before. I have to say that this is a very valuable cooperation process, because this is not only a simple text optimization, but also helps to improve the content of my entire article.
