About H J Musk

I have worked in science for over 10 years, in the fields of microbiology, chemistry and molecular biology.

I have a BSc (Hons) Science degree obtained through the Open University, giving me plenty of experience at working to strict deadlines while managing other important life commitments.

Having worked for world-leading scientific institutes, I have been around scientists and their research, as well as the journals, articles, theses and other scientific literature that is produced within this community.

Although my working background is in science I have a range of interests, including English language and literature, creative writing, science fiction and fantasy (reading, watching and writing), classic cars, rugby and playing darts.

I have successfully completed the Basic Proofreading course from the Publishing Training Centre so you can be assured that I am qualified to proofread your work to the highest standard. The course covers spelling, grammar and punctuation, as well as formatting and layout, as would be expected from a professional publisher.
