In today’s highly competitive market, a good first impression is vitally important. There’s nothing more off-putting than literature or a website littered with grammatical errors and typos. I trained with the Publishing Training Centre (PTC) and am a Professional Member of the Chartered Institute of Editing and Proofreading (CIEP) – the ‘gold standard’ in proofreading and editing excellence. I am experienced in proofreading and proof-editing an extensive range of material including web copy, company magazines, annual reports, strategy documents, press releases, PowerPoint presentations, white papers, full length books and student theses. I have proof-edited a great deal of literature prepared by non-native English speakers to improve grammar and clarity.
I have an honours degree in Biology and have had an extensive career in the clinical healthcare sector. I am therefore confident in proofreading technical text, scientific literature and references, as well as being skilled at working to urgent deadlines.
