About Catherine Dunn

I am a copy-editor and proofreader specialising in working with self-publishing authors and students. ‘Clarity, communication and consistency’ is my motto, and I can help you to polish your writing while enabling your unique voice to shine through. I am a Professional Member of the Society for Editors and Proofreaders (SfEP).

In fiction, I specialise in fantasy, YA, science fiction, horror, literary fiction, women’s fiction, crime, thrillers, romance and erotica.

In non-fiction, I specialise in the arts and humanities, particularly fine art, painting, art history, history, sociology, media studies, religion, psychology and politics.

As well as working with self-publishing and first-time authors, I have also edited books for publishers such as Routledge, Taylor & Francis, Arc Humanities Press, Cambridge University Press, Biteback Publishing and Sea Otter Publishing.
