I am an author and freelance editor from Sussex, England with a deep love for language, writing, folklore, mythology, and all things story-related. I knew from my first year of college that I wanted to be an editor; as someone who loves the written word, it felt like the perfect job for me. While I was completing my English Language and Literature A Level, I took the Chartered Institute of Editing and Proofreading’s Proofreading 1: Introduction course and did a variety of editing and editing-adjacent services for fellow writers on a non-professional basis. As soon as my time at college was done, I embarked on the Publishing Training Centre’s Essential Copy-Editing course, and I’ve been freelancing as an editor, proofreader and sensitivity reader ever since.
