Hello!

A proofreader just starting on this career path but with a passion for correct English grammar and punctuation. I will meticulously check your writing for grammatical, punctuation and spelling errors as well as anything else you may require. Over the last 20 years, I have proofread numerous academic documents, newsletters, prospectuses, books, event programmes, etc.

Once I have proofread your writing, you will either receive a document edited using MS Word Track Changes or a PDF marked with comments. Obviously if there is another way you would like me to complete this, we can discuss this.

Ideally, my focus would be on children’s books and education material. I am a former teacher with fifteen years’ experience teaching English and marking a variety of children’s work. Reading is a skill which – I believe – can open many doors in life but should also be a pleasure. Readers should have access to correct grammar, punctuation and spelling.

As a member of the Society for Editors and Proofreaders, I have completed my training through them. My further education includes a degree in Education with English Literature and Biblical Studies as secondary majors.
